I like to listen to music on the go. To this end I use the Sansa
Clip+, a small and functional mp3 player.
It runs Rockbox which puts it
miles ahead of the contemporary streaming “experience.”
It also runs
Doom.
It also logs what I listened to. I wrote a little script for
scrobbling the log to Last.fm.
reasons to love it
- has a classic Mini-USB port
- behaves like a generic USB drive
- plays FLAC, even on original firmware
- has a handy clip... duh
- is super lightweight
- has a 3.5mm headphone jack
- has a MicroSD expansion slot
- doesn't connect to the internet
- battery lasts for 10-20 hours
what's on it?
