Having now survived for a quarter-century, I feel like it is time
for some insightful words. That is unfortunate, though, since it
does not feel like I have gained much insight in the last years.
Could it be about the subtle differences?
- I still go to bed way past midnight, but at least I no longer
pretend to be more productive at night.
- I no longer forget about wet clothes in the washing machine.
- It’s been a while since I last congested a Danish
scientologist’s water pipes.
The last couple of years can be summarised quickly: I went to uni
again and it sucked. It drained my creativity and bulldozed the
playful attitude I’ve had going back in 2020. I could watch my
social skills crumble as well. So here’s some advice for kids: do
not trade youth for a tech degree, it’s just not worth it.
This year I’m trying to focus on quality of life and having fun
instead of all the pointless junk that grown-ups consider
important. I should have never listened to them in the first
place.
There’s your insight.
